Prior to that assignment, he led Bosch’s corporate research sector for Advanced Production Technology and Material Science of Metal and Plastics. He has broad international experience in production and machine construction and holds a degree in Computational Engineering Science from Technische Universität Berlin.
    Sven Hamann has been leading the business unit Bosch Connected Industry since July 1, 2019. She worked at a law firm, for Amnesty International, and at organizations specializing in diversity, change management, and sustainability. In 2012, she joined L’Oréal as Chief Sustainability Officer and became Chief Corporate Responsibility Officer and Executive Vice President of the Fondation L’Oréal in 2017. She joined L’Oréal’s Executive Committee in 2019.

    A theoretical physicist, Dr. Katrin Suder worked at McKinsey & Co. from 2000 to 2014, heading the Berlin office and public sector practice. She became State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry of Defense in 2014, before being appointed as Chairwoman of the Advisory Council on Digitalization to the German Federal Government in 2018. She also works as independent senior adviser and in international supervisory and advisory boards.

He was a member of the high-level expert group on AI of the European Commission. Prior to joining Bosch in 2017, he worked at Deutsche Telekom Laboratories in Berlin in the area of AI, (cyber-)security, Industry 4.0, and IoT.

    After obtaining his Ph.D. at the Technical University of Munich, Julian Backhaus joined the BMW Group in 2016 to build up their IoT platform. He led the IT project to develop and roll out a predictive maintenance solution and shaped the connectivity standards for IoT. Today, Julian is responsible for the DevOps teams focusing on IoT and edge computing, and represents BMW in the Open Manufacturing Platform.

Daniel has a master’s degree in Technical Management and a bachelor’s degree in Automotive Powertrain & Mechatronics from Heilbronn University of Applied Science.
    Prof. Dr.-Ing. Joachim Metternich heads the Institute for Production Management, Technology and Machine Tools (PTW) at TU Darmstadt. After studying industrial engineering at TH Darmstadt and earning his PhD at PTW, he worked for industrial companies in Germany and abroad for many years. He is a member of the Scientific Society for Production Engineering (WGP) and spokesperson for the Mittelstand Digital Zentrum Darmstadt.

    • Can I register on behalf of other participants?

      Registration on behalf of other participants is not possible. Every participant needs to fill out the contact form personally and will then receive an individual ticket code. However, please feel free to forward the link to this website to your network!
