Sven Hamann has been leading the business unit Bosch Connected Industry since July 1, 2019. Prior to that assignment, he led Bosch’s corporate research sector for Advanced Production Technology and Material Science of Metal and Plastics. He has broad international experience in production and machine construction and holds a degree in Computational Engineering Science from Technische Universität Berlin.

Katharina Hochfeld heads the Center for Responsible Research and Innovation at the Fraunhofer IAO. Her work focuses on corporate cultural change processes in the context of technological and social developments. She has led research and consulting projects for the German Federal Foreign Office, the Max Planck Society and SAP.
Werner Cramer has been an account manager for Nexeed Automation at Bosch Connected Industry since 2018. Before focusing on all customer needs in connection with automation, he graduated from RWTH Aachen University with a master’s degree in Industrial and Mechanical Engineering.
Solution Manager Thomas Eiberle is our expert for the Nexeed Industrial Application System. With his electronics engineering background, Thomas started in the field of MES software development 20 years ago and gained a lot of experience with production critical systems and digitalization in manufacturing along the way.
Roman Schittenhelm knows all about the opportunities that come with digitalizing the shopfloor – and as Business Owner for the Nexeed Industrial Application System, he likes to share his knowledge. At Bosch, Roman gained a lot of experience dealing with digital business solutions in other divisions and markets before he took on his current position.
Dr. Birgit Boss is active in various national and international standardization and open source organizations such as Plattform Industrie 4.0, Industrial Digital Twin Association, Open Manufacturing Platform, and CATENA-X. She is a Lead Software Architect at Bosch with more than 25 years of experience.
Andreas Orzelski is a board member of the OSADL (Open Source Automation Development Lab) and the IDTA (Industrial Digital Twin Association), where he focuses on the Asset Administration Shell – the practical implementation of digital twins. In WG 24 of the IEC, he is co-developing a corresponding standard. In addition, he promotes open source projects in GITHUB and the Eclipse Foundation.
Cathy Weber is a senior consultant and project lead at Bosch Industry Consulting. She advises companies on their digital transformation – from the potential analysis and concept development to the implementation of i4.0 strategies and use cases. Within these areas, she has implemented projects with a focus on the automotive and medical technology industries.
